Description
HorseAdds Biotin contains a high dose of biotin, which contributes to a strong hoof wall, nicer coat and healthy skin.
A horse obtains biotin (or vitamin B8) in two ways; from the feed and through the release of vitamin B during fermentation of roughage in the gut. The latter does depend on the type of feed given. With many grains, a less fiber-rich ration or a lower quality roughage, less fermentation takes place and less biotin is produced in the intestine. In addition, fermentation of roughage occurs only after the food has passed the small intestine, where most nutrients are absorbed. Biotin added to the forage can be absorbed in the small intestine. A stronger hoof wall, healthy skin and shiny coat can be the result.
HorseAdds Biotin contains 25 mg of biotin per 10 grams (daily dose). Rather than being filled with sugars or other unnecessary sweeteners, HorseAdds Biotin is combined with MSM, which supports skin and coat condition.
