HorseAdds and Probarn
In 2015, Probarn was created in which we apply the minerals tailored concept as a basis. We have this concept for not only horses but also dairy cattle. In both sectors, we believe that the basis lies in good roughage, but this roughage can have many differences from one farm to another. To support optimal health and to feed what is missing and not what the grass already contains, we calculate a supplement really specific to each farm. A unique approach in which there is more and more interest and which we successfully introduce to new customers every day.
Since 2018, we at HorseAdds have been selling supplements for the smaller horse owner through our webshop. A perfect addition to the options we already offer through Probarn! Because even custom feed sometimes requires that one supplement for that one horse.

The synergy between the two companies also allows HorseAdds to offer the best supplements at competitive prices: many of the HorseAdds supplements are used by Probarn as an ingredient in the pellets or mineral mixtures for dairy cattle. As a result, we purchase large quantities resulting in favorable purchase prices.
In addition, Probarn produces under GMP+ which ensures that the quality of our products must meet a high standard of quality.

However, buying and producing a lot also has an additional challenge: waste. Many vitamins and minerals are delivered in bags and boxes. And with many tons of production, you have a lot of boxes! Currently, everything is separated and disposed of for later recycling. Meanwhile, we then buy boxes again to send our packages in. Has it come full circle? Yes. But it could be better!
Therefore, we decided to reuse all boxes that are still good for reuse to deliver our HorseAdds products in! This way, the boxes do not have to become new boxes first to accomplish their task. Efficient and good for the environment!
